Product Prices at MOBY
MOBY is a profit-oriented company. However, this does not mean that we seek to generate a 100 to 300 percent markup per product. Furthermore, we do not engage in price-fixing agreements with competitors, as is common in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Product prices are regulated by supply and demand. Since we sell our products to European countries and internationally, the purchase volume from suppliers increases. Consequently, the purchase price is reduced, which allows us to adjust our product prices accordingly, thus guaranteeing our customers a moderate price per product, reliably and over the long term.
VAT is also not charged for customers in the European Union or Internationally, and the product prices displayed in the online shop and in-store are shown without VAT. (VAT is only charged when there is no promotion, and then only in France.)
MOBY generally does not charge shipping costs to European countries or internationally.
As a result, the prices per product are in an affordable price segment.
